Mini-split AC systems are becoming increasingly popular due to the ability to control temperature in individual rooms and spaces. Like all AC system, mini-split systems are prone to internal mold growth. Mold growth poses health risks and shortens the life of the air system. Additionally, biological contaminants like viruses, pollen, bacteria and allergens can be spread by the air system. UV light disinfection systems were previously too large for mini-split AC systems – until now. Introducing the G400 a germicidal UV light for mini-split systems.

Design and Safety
In the past, germicidal UV lights were too large for mini-split systems. We created the G400 to address this issue. The G400 features two miniature shielded UV lamps that are 9 inches long and ½ inch in diameter, making it the perfect size for mini-split systems. The miniature UV lamps also has a protective PTFE sleeve to reduce the risk of shattering.

How the G400 works
Scientists have known about the germicidal properties of UV-C light for years. UV-C light penetrates the cell walls of harmful microorganisms and prevents these microorganisms from reproducing. UV-C light kills bacteria, mold, viruses and allergens. The G400 can easily be installed in mini-split AC systems to provide a safe, clean and efficient solution for your cooling needs.

Indoor Air Quality
Indoor air pollution can present significant health risks and can be up to five times worse than outdoor air pollution. The G400 improves air quality by removing mold, bacteria, viruses and allergens from the air as it cycles through the system.
